Press ReleasesFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE AMERICAN INDIAN BUSINESS NETWORK PROGRESS UPDATEALBUQUERQUE, NM, October 1, 2008 – Blue Stone Strategy Group is scheduled to present an update on the progress of the American Indian Business Network (AIBN) initiative at the NIGA Mid-Year Membership Meeting. “Our goal is to establish the structure and direction for the AIBN to develop into a world class organization that creates opportunities and benefits for business in Indian Country,” said Jamie Fullmer, CEO of Blue Stone Strategy Group. Blue Stone Strategy Group was engaged by NIGA in April of 2008 to spearhead the initiative and assist in the following: • Develop the vision, systems, and structure for the AIBN to contribute to the growth of the Indian Economy At this half-year milestone, the following activities have occurred or are underway:
Blue Stone Strategy Group has assisted with the NIGA executive board with the development of a survey, which is being distributed to NIGA member tribes. The survey is an important first step in understanding the needs and progress of tribes in the areas of economic development and revenue diversification.
