As a Junior Strategist for Blue Stone Strategy Group, Rochelle Tuttle brings a diverse set of skills to the team. She contributes to the development of policies aimed at increasing economic development for Tribal Governments and Enterprises.

Her attention to detail, whether she is drafting proposals or assessing a new or existing Tribal businesses, she manages to keep Tribal clients informed on each step of the process. She covers all areas of client communication by following up on the client’s needs, and coordinating resources and projects for Blue Stone’s development activities – from the early stages to final presentation.

As an experienced researcher, she utilizes multiple media resources to gather industry relevant data to assist Blue Stone in business and marketing development, in addition to public relations campaigns.

Prior to joining Blue Stone, Tuttle worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture at their office of Outreach, Employee Education and Training and State Outreach and Technical Assistance Division. While there, she researched interventions, controls and prevention strategies, and defense outreach. She also developed marketing strategies for a newly implemented Call Center, and handled outreach materials, brochures, and the development of presentations.

Tuttle, an enrolled member of the Round Valley Indian Tribes of the Round Valley Indian Reservation, and of Nomilacki and Wylacki heritage, grew up in Covelo, Calif. Early in her career, she spent several years working at the Round Valley Indian Health Center in the Medical Records department.

When she moved to Southern California to attend college at the University of California Irvine, she worked for the American Indian Resource Program. She assisted the director in the design, implementation and coordination of programs.

Always one to promote and practice health and fitness, in 2008 Tuttle was certified as a Personal Trainer. She works in her spare time to help others achieve their fitness and dietary goals.

Tuttle is currently a Master’s of Public Health candidate at Loma Linda University. In 2009, she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Health Policy and a minor in Native American Studies from UCI. She is also the proud recipient of the prestigious Gates Millennium Scholarship.
