The blue stone provides strength and focus while moving forward into unchartered lands and directions, as well as on the path throughout life. In the Apache beginning stories, the Blue Stone was an essential element used to create man. The blue stone is used for many purposes in Native ways -- from spiritual protection and guidance to commerce and art. The strength and beauty of the blue stone provides direction and vision to those that utilize it. It is used in Sacred Ceremony as well as the most beautiful Native Jewelry. In the ancient past the Blue Stone was more valuable to many Natives than gold or any other precious stones or metals. Our logo represents how the blue stone distinguishes itself to provide clarity and vision among the clutter all around us. We chose the blue stone to serve as our symbol and guide as we promote and support sustainability and prosperity within Native communities. |
