Our process starts with crop mix optimization and yield maximization studies. Next, we incorporate macroeconomic trends and local agronomic issues to come up with recommendations for improvement and return on investment.

Case Study

Blue Stone’s experience in farming operations includes a full scale assessment of a 15,000 acre farming operation consisting of five major crops in rotation and almost 100 employees.

Our team assessed the entire business with additional focus on custom farming/contractor performance and costs. A full range of potential alternative crops were analyzed. By combining farming returns with water rights valuation, we were able to place value on the operations as a whole, and for individual crop investment.

Findings were shared with the Tribal council, agricultural employees and Tribal members to demonstrate return on investment for their Tribal dollars. We also helped redesign the farm board and related governance structures to ensure successful operations for generations to come.
