Blue Stone conducted a comprehensive assessment for a Tribe’s 120,000 acre cattle ranch in the Southwest.

After reviewing the ranch cost structure and herd value, we identified four key areas of improvement including organic expansion, native beef certification, internal tribal sales to casino restaurants, and synergies for combination with farming operations.

Our client proceeded with combining the ranching and farming operations as well as with an ID/Tag system to lay the groundwork for organic/hormone free/grass fed varieties. We created a complete farm and ranch integration process manual to guide the staff from each entity towards a more profitable, higher revenue combined business.
